V96.9 is proud to team
up with the area Lions Club for the “Dog Days Festival” Saturday
July 31st from 11am – 6pm at Civitan Park in Belpre.
Enjoy great food, like a chicken dinner for just $6. All funds
raised go to the Seeing Eye dogs program. The Lions Club will
also be accepting eyeglasses, hearing aides, and cell phones for
recycling. Come join us and enjoy the “Dog Days” Festival
Saturday July 31st at Civitan Park in Belpre, with
the area Lions Club and V96.9. If it’s happening in the valley,
we’re there!
The Camden-Clark
Foundation Charity Golf Classic & Golf Ball Drop will take place
Monday August 2nd at the Parkersburg Country Club.
The Golf Scramble will start at 9:30am with a shotgun start.
Entry Fee is $175 per person or $700 per team. The fee includes
18 holes of golf, cart, prizes, lunch and refreshments.
(Team handicaps must total 40 or more).
For the Golf Ball
Drop, golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter on a selected
green. Closest ball to the pin wins $5000.
Tickets for this event are $20 and only 1000 will be sold.
Proceeds to benefit Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. You need not
be present to win. To purchase tickets for the Golf Ball Drop or

V96.9 invites you to
walk to prevent suicide. Support the American Foundation for
Suicide Prevention by participating in the Mid-Ohio Valley Out
of the Darkness Community Walk on Saturday August 7th
at Parkersburg City Park. Raise money for local and national
suicide prevention and awareness programs. To learn more and to

Legion
Riders Williamstown Post # 159 will host their 1st
annual Car and Bike Show Sunday August 29th.
Sign-Up’s are 10am to 12pm and the car show is from 10am to
4pm. Entry fee is just $10, with all proceeds going to
Troops now serving and who have served. There will be a
50/50 drawing, door prizes, plus refreshments and food will
